Ending of UW @ OU for those that missed it

  For me it comes back to that empty backfield rush that Nix took to get injured. That play still makes no sense to me. It was 3rd and 5 and if you watched most of the game. Irving was averaging 7.5 ypc. Whittington was also at 5.3. A lot of Nix runs were in escapes where he saw lanes and then smartly slid. Here is the play where he gets injured:

  Looks fine in several of those views. I still can’t believe they didn’t punt it on that fourth and 1.
