      But it wasn’t easy. Stanford cut a 16-point second-half deficit to two points before the Utes righted the ship by being able to hit late free throws. The Utes are 4-0 in the conference for the first time since the 2014-15 season and 11-4 for the first time since the 2016-17 season. If things continue similarly, it looks like Smith’s project is way ahead of schedule.

      Beavs at home Thursday night with a chance to go 5-0 in the Pac for the first time. Get out and support the boys…two massive games next week.

        I’ll be there cheering for both games. For some reason, games against the Oregon schools at the Huntsman are always pretty animated.
