Cole Bajema committed. Had 30 starts this past season with Washington averaging almost 9 points

      I like this pickup!

Good size at 6-7 and pretty good from 3.  Uperclassman to boot.  The kind of player that would’ve really helped last year.  Great add!

      keep ’em comin!

Been a long time since I really followed basketball, but is 40% FG shooting considered good these days?

It’s a lot better when 64% of your shots are 3 pointers

40% from 3 is considered excellent, has been for a long time

35% is pretty dang good in college

It really isn’t though. It’s fine, but it isn’t pretty dang good. It’s fine. That’s it.

It’s good enought that you should shoot when open, but it isn’t good enough that you should shoot if there is a guy more open than you.

That’s a flat out great pickup. I remember watching him play in the Hunty with Washington last season and wishing we had him.

I agree. He also stood out for me when the Huskies came to town. The only downside, as many people have mentioned, is that he’s essentially a one season rental.

Only speaking for myself, but I’m decidedly unimpressed with Smith’s recruiting prowess so far. Yeah, he might be a nice guy and good at Xs and Os but I haven’t remotely seen anyone who can move the needle on a consistent manner enter this program since his arrival. Guess he’s waiting until his extension becomes a topic of conversation before we see that happen.

Pretty similar statistically to stefanovic. Same size, same shooting percentages. The only downside is that Bajema is a senior and Lazar is not. Otherwise they seem to be essentially the same player on paper.
