      Larry Scott proved to be out of his element early on. The blame goes to the Pac-12 Presidents who gave him an extension, let him “earn” his entire contract, and then followed that up with another commissioner who was completely ill-equipped to negotiate the next deal in a timely fashion.

      Poor leadership begets poor employees and the commissioner answers to the Presidents.
