You could spend days talking about the PAC12 and its demise. The PAC12 has been good for Utah. There is a lot of blame to go around for what happened. Larry Scott was terrible. His mistakes led us to where we are now. It’s hard not to feel optimistic about Utah’s chances in the Big 12.
12 years in the PAC12 has changed Utah athletics. Look at who we are recruiting today as compared to 12 years ago. Utah is now mentioned in the national conversation. The Utes are talked about when it comes to the college football playoff. The facilities also have all been upgraded.
Utah/BYU will be the biggest rivalry in the BIG 12 by a long shot. BYU fans enjoyed it last week when it appeared that Utah was in trouble.
Bartle thinks that Cam may be good to go but admits that he has NOT been cleared to play. He seemed to have no insight as to who would be QB2. He thinks that Ludwig will figure out how to utilize Johnson regardless.
He believes that the coaches are having a conversation as to if Cam should be held out until conference play. But, he admits that he does not know. The conference games are the most important and three-peating would be amazing. Cam is working his tail off to be ready to play, but there is only so much he can do.
