Maile at BYU

Unlike our friends down south – when a Ute transfers to our rival, I don’t say things like, “He is dead to me…”

There is a nice article in the Dnews about Maile transferring to BYU. Maile was very positive about his former teammates and coaches. He already has two degrees from Utah and wanted some change in his life. He didn’t think he would end up at BYU, but things worked out for him in Provo. I wish him well.

The only time I am really unhappy about a kid transferring to our rival is if he badmouths his former teammates or coaches as Nacua did at one point. He later retracted some of his statements. I hope we can get the youngest Nacua to come to Utah.
