      My God, it’s been a while, well since the last USC game, that I’ve seen such displays of unmitigated hubris. I haven’t seen one yet that doesn’t think that the Gators are going to walk into Rice-Eccles and win easily. The only reason that they won last year is because of Utah mistakes/lack of execution at critical times (just 13 points out of six trips inside the Red Zone!!!) and because the Utes had no real answer for Anthony Richardson. Well, Richardson is now the starting QB of the Colts and was replaced by Graham Mertz, a mediocre transfer from Wisconsin. The channels I’ve been tracking all seem to think that Mertz is going to magically get better because he’s no longer playing at Wisconsin. They fail to explain how Mertz is going to avoid the 5-6 sacks that the Utes had in the bag until Richardson used his world-class athletic ability to gain positive yardage. There’s also a great disdain for the PAC in general. This, to me, is hard to comprehend especially since the Gators got destroyed by Oregon State in the Las Vegas Bowl. I certainly hope that the Utes show up big in a couple of weeks and utterly annihilate the Gators.

      Yeah it’s pretty bad on Twitter as well. I just hope their players are all drinking their own GATORade (Ba Dum Tss) with all this talk.

      I’ve noticed the same thing…especially from that back woods hillbilly from locked on gatuhs

      That dude will soil his frayed jorts when we win and mertz doesn’t look like Tim Tebow, Barnes or rising

        You know, as I think about it, it’s a continuation of the disrespect we got last year at Gainesville. I went to that game and, unfortunately, sat in a Gator section. I’ve been to more games than you can shake a stick at in my life and I’ve never been more insulted just due to the virtue of wearing a Utah jersey. It got so bad that I was this close to losing my temper and doing something I’d regret later. LOL…Brandon Olsen is the host of Locked on Gators and you’re absolutely right…you can’t say anything positive about Utah on that channel without drawing an illogical, emotional reaction from him. I mean, it’s like those guys didn’t even bother to watch the film from last year and don’t realize how easily that game could have been a comfortable Utah victory.

      Not to mention their O-line going to be worse, despite the vehement denial by UF fans, and the absolute cope that it’s going go be better. Our D-line and LB’s are also much more experienced, bigger, and better this year. They act like he will have 7+ seconds to throw on every play, or that their true freshman WR’s are just gonna run past our DB’s on every other play. None of it makes sense.

      I also wonder if they’ve gone 100% live to simulate a heavy pass rush, because Mertz has some of the worst pass stats against AP top 25 teams. I highly doubt he’s all of a sudden some calm, collected QB. Just look at their spring game.

        Man, I hope that the awesome Utah Video Dept is compiling a tape of all of these guys talking trash about Utah so that KW can show it to the team before the game.
