If the DL is healthy we should have 15 sacks. Shapen looks indecisive and their OL looks soft. Going to be tough down there in the heat, but they’re not looking fantastic so far tonight

Streaming only. Currently 7-6 texas state. Lots of pressure from the Texas state DL

4 false starts for their O-Line already, rough start for Baylor

Most improvement during a season takes place from game 1-2.
Always gotta watch these first games through that filter.

Agreed… Hopefully that is true for us as well.

Texas State leading 14-6 now. Baylor has been going backwards on every play since I started watching the game.

Looks like Baylor QB gonna have a bad day two weeks in a row.

Are you watching the game? Texas State just scored again…now 21-6…the Bobcats are doing whatever they want to Baylor. Only problem is that if Baylor gets embarrassed by Texas State, they’ll come out uber motivated against Utah.

Yeah, we got REALLY lucky with our two non-con P5 games. They both lost 4/5 O-line starters. Our offense isn’t good without Rising, but to give up 21 to a G5 team early in the 2nd quarter, there defense must be bad. Granted, I’ve heard that Texas State might be decent this year, but still, Baylor looks like poopoo. Hopefully they win though.

Baylor winning means nothing. If we finish the season with 1 loss or less we get into the playoff. If we finish with two losses or more we don’t. Winning football games is the only thing that matters.

SEC teams don’t get into the playoff consistently because of their SOS. They get in because they play garbage teams for most of the season, then whoever has the best record of the 3 or 3 good teams gets in.

Yes, they talk about SOS all the time, but at the end of the day it’s the wins and losses that matter. If we have 1 loss or less, we are in. Anymore than that and we are virtually guaranteed to be out, even if Baylor and Florida both go undefeated from here on out.

Not if that loss is in the CCG to another one loss PAC team.

      These announcers are awful.
The Texas St qb Finley has a pretty good arm. Makes good decisions to.

LOL…yeah, this is one of those games where they pulled two guys off the street to call the game…definitely not the A Team.

I don’t know guys…watching this game, it looks like Texas State is the P5 power and Baylor is the FCS scrub…I’m guessing Dave Aranda’s seat is getting warmer by the second.

I don’t think Utah can waltz in with that Two qb system. I think it was really lucky we got that first year coordinator. Also a few lucky bounces helped the Utah offense.

We absolutely can use a 2 QB system against them. We just need to let Nate play loose and free. If he makes a mistake, that’s fine, but he looks nervous on passing downs.

From the way Baylor’s been playing this evening, the Utes could start Steve Smedley at QB and walk away with a win.

Texas State has knocked out Baylor’s QB. His entire left leg is completely wrapped up over a knee brace…doesn’t bode well for Baylor…

Damn, Texas State’s QB, the LSU and Auburn transfer TJ Finley, is the real deal…he’s got an atomic cannon for an arm…

I wonder what they paid him in NLI. I really like his swagger.

I think it’s doubtful that he got much in NIL. He’s probably just trying to resurrect his career after stops at LSU and Auburn…
