      Not bad considering our starting DEs were supposed to be O’Toole and Fillinger.

      Elliss has better numbers than both the Edges listed and every justification they gave for Turner applies to Elliss including playing on a defense that is Top 15 in scoring and total defense.

      Player A: 7 games, 29 Tackles, 14 solo, 9.5 tackles for loss, 7 sacks, 2 forced fumbles
      Player B: 6 games, 20 tackles, 10 solo, 9 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles
      Player C: 6 games, 29 Tackles, 17 solo, 13 tackles for loss, 9 sacks, 1 pass defended, 1 forced fumble

      Even in a mid-season award, pre-season hype still matters more than production.
