I love the long TD but if that run is his last this year, it wasn’t worth it. Why was he in the game at this point?

Not even close to cheap. He jumped on him at the 5.

It was the first offensive play of the 2nd half. I get your thought, but no way is that playing your starter too long.

Normally yes. But with a 3 TD lead and having him be hurt all year? Glover was averaging 9 yards per in the first half and is more than capable of finishing this game.

The important game is next week.

Because scoring has been so easy for utah this year and they’ve never given up a 21 point lead? Loose this game and next week is irrelevant

Why wouldn’t he be? First series of the second half. 21-point lead isn’t a done deal at that point.

Because he’s been injured since fall camp and has only finished one game so far this season. if there’s one guy you need to be smart with his usage, it’s Jackson. If you needed him to get another 15 carries this half to win, you needed a better plan

Look at what Utah has behind him you can’t say that.

He reinjured his bad leg. It won’t heal until after the bowl is my bet.

Was it his ankle they were checking?

I was just praying it wasn’t his knee.

Sly said it was the same ankle. He walked out to the locker room under his own power. He was hobbled.

I was at the game. The worst part about that play, other than the injury, is that the clueless PAC refs originally said that he had gone out at the 1 yard line. They had to reconvene to make the right call.

Yeah, he was nowhere near stepping out of bounds.

        So that was the booing?

Yeap…nobody could believe it. He was nowhere near the sideline but the refs originally said that he had gone out at the 1 Yard line. Totally bizarre…

That was worse than potentially losing him for the year?
