Tale of two halfs. Our offense was outstanding in the first half. That was our best half of football this season. The difference was the biggest he had ever seen. He said he has no explanation for what happened.
Give credit to UW, they are a very good team.
Arizona is playing very well. The new QB is excellent. He is completing 75% of his throws. He has been a spark for the Wildcats. He is not a big guy but extremely savvy.
Arizona is doing a great job. JF is rebuilding the program his way. They have recruited real well and play hard.
We have more football to play and we need to respond. We have responded well after the last two losses. We need to avoid the hangover.
He has no explanation for what happened in the second half. He was questioned about the Oline. He said we did not block as well, throw as well, catch as well, etc. Not good production in the second half.
Never had more injuries than this season but no one cares. We need to win with the guys we have.
We have made a lot of effort to get Vele the ball more often. We should have done so earlier.
Asked about the PI call in the 4th quarter. He would not say much but he did not see it.
We will never let our record determine who we play. If a kid is healthy enough to play – he will play.
We have about a dozen guys who are looking at future opportunities like the NFL. He indicated that he is talking to these guys and he feels he has a pretty good handle on who will come back.
He is very proud of the team being 7-3 under the circumstances.
There are 15-18 guys on each side of the ball who play an important role.
