I watched the Oregon/Oregon State game last Friday. Bo Nix is a talented QB with a ton of confidence. Third and long was never a problem for him. It made me think about the Came Rising we saw in the USC game in October 2022. He had confidence to move the team and he had great confidence that if he threw it to Kincaid, he would catch it.
I hope that Cam’s knee has healed enough that he can regain that confidence. If we get Kuithe back, he will have a go-to guy to throw to. It will be exciting to see Cam leading this team again with the confidence and swagger he had before.
Also, look at the NFL every week to see what experienced, confident QBs do. Look at Hurts yesterday against Buffalo or Mahomes when he was down 14-0 in the second quarter. They have the confidence to bring their teams back.
I hope that Cam gets back to 100% physically and emotionally he will be ready to take hits again. If he does, 2024 should be exciting for Ute fans.
