Blame it on Barnes all you want but the coaches think he is the best option. A guy in the portal that will most likely return for the 2024 season.

Bottari gives you the same as Barnes.

Sometimes the other guy has better chess pieces. The makeshift lineup is not ready. Barnes needs to be able to read a defense.

Barnes was way behind the pass to Money on his first pick.

The second pick was a punt to the defense.

The pass to Money on the sideline. It was like he wanted to pass to the defender side instead of the open sideline.

Then the fumble that thankfully wasn’t reviewed. Just bad.

This is a guy who hasn’t improved at all. He has regressed. He needs to be benched.

You are correct, that is an understatement. I know there is a lot going on in college football and all kinds of things going on with players, but they had at least three to four weeks to prep for this game and this is the kind of product Whitt puts on the field? Dude gets paid $$$ millions to put a decent football team on the field, and this ain’t it.

I would not be surprised if NW wins this game. It seems like Whitt and the coaching staff are set on winning or losing this game with Barnes. It just doesn’t seem no fire or emotion in the team, just playing to play with no really sense of urgency. Hoping none of the players get injured because of boneheaded play by Barnes or Ludwig calls a stupid play.
