Great news on the Utes baseball stadium

  SLC has come to an agreement on the proposed below market lease ($1/year) of 1.2 acres of the Sunnyside Park in exchange for $4.2M of investment to repair/improve the park. This additional piece of land the university is getting enables the stadium to be built without the need for a 35-foot wall in left field. Construction should start on time this summer and is really cool the U of U will be able to construct a complete stadium now.

  one thing with the move to the Big-12 you’ll see some good baseball coming to town, such as TCU, TTech, WVaU and Baylor, in addition to the Arizona schools.
