      I saw an article from the Athlon about Utah Athletics tweeting (or X’ing? idk i don’t have X) a singer wearing a Utah shirt with the nike swoosh on it. Even though Utah isn’t with Nike, is that legal to post on a Utah official social media without having implications such as a law suit? I don’t know much about marketing but I would think if Under Armour is signed with Utah, they’d be p**sed if they saw a tweet from an official Utah account posting about Utah/Nike.

      We were Nike before UA. This looks more like a thrift store find of a relic than an unveiling of new gear. Drum and feather, once our primary logo, now less prominent, could indicate the same.

        I still wear plenty of Utah gear that has a Nike swoosh on it because I still have more Nike gear than I do Under Armor gear. I desperately wish we’d move on from UA, but I’m not holding my breath…

          IMO Nike has a better selection of fan apparel than Under Armor, but Nike’s team jersey releases this year have been pathetically bland. I’m not as dying to jump to Nike as I once was, as a result… But I do desperately want a revamp of our jerseys regardless.

            Agreed. I’m not desperate to return to Nike either, but I would like an alternative to UA. Maybe Adidas would be an option? Or maybe someone else trying to make a name for themselves with more ambition than UA…

              As long as Utah gets more money from UA than Nike would offer and as long as Utah is a top 5 priority school for UA vs being a Top 100 priority for Nike, I prefer we stay with UA. The only apparel partner I’d prefer over UA is Jordan Brand.

                Exactly, MD. Utah isn’t getting the Oregon treatment from Nike. Better to stick with UA over them.
