Anyone planning to go to the CU game? Started looking at tickets – prices seemed roughly comparable to RE. Wondering to buy now or hold off.

if I buy now and their fans stop attending by mid November again, maybe buying now is overpaying? Of course, Utahs brand will/may be so hot we draw everyone out and prices will be high. I probably shouldn’t try and play the market.

I’ve not been to Folsom. Are there bad seats or parts of the stadium to avoid?

I’m going to the Colorado game this year and planning to wait until closer to the game. Might be better to buy early but I typically wait to purchase tickets until a week before the game.

We went 2 yrs ago (before Prime) and sat on the first row. The way the stadium is set up, there’s a walkway, and then the players bench is right there, so we were interacting with them the whole game. When the game got out of hand (like 2nd quarter), we started giving the players and even coaches updates to the Oregon State comeback game which if you recall was one of 3 games that had to go our way to make it to the CCG (Utah win, OSU win, UW win). Sorry tangent.

        Sounds like a great experience.

Not too many bad seats. Avoid student section (south endzone, lower bowl). Visitor section is NW side (top of the left side of the U/horseshoe shape). I’ve sat there twice, once in the old north end zone (has been redone) when Reggie Dunn had a kickoff return for TD. 2 years ago, right behind visitor bench. 4 years ago, SE high side and could move down (snow and cold 1st half weeded out a lot of people)

I’ll wait probably until a week before. Might depend if CU has lost enough times that CU fans bail (last year tickets were sky high for first several games then started falling off a cliff). If they are playing for a 6th win, could keep prices higher.
