OnlyU, have you heard any news on Epenesa?

  Sounding like it’s a neck and neck battle for 5* Iose Epenesa between Utah and Iowa. Utah was Epenesa’s favorite visit and many have thought he seems interested in carving his own path. But family ties to Iowa run deep and he has a brother on their roster.
  
  OnlyU, have you heard where things stand with his recruitment? Do you think we have a good shot to get him or are things trending Iowa’s way? Anything you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

    He really likes Utah, the culture and family atmosphere but is very comfortable with Iowa. I haven’t heard anything to suggest he’s decided yet though so we absolutely still have a chance. 50/50 with him and 65/35 with Myles which moves higher with every pass we throw this year!!

    Bingo! brother IS transferring to Utah which is why Epenesa decided to go for Utah, it’ll safe parents travel time and expenses.

  It looks like some predictions came in for Epenesa to Iowa and he’s 100% crystal balled there on 247 Sports. Id be very happy if it’s really 50/50 between Iowa and Utah

      Right, a confidence level 5 just means that Iowa feels good about where they stand in his recruitment. If it were a confidence level 8 then that would mean they’ve received a verbal commitment.
      
      He just completed an on-campus visit at Iowa with his family which is when the 5 CB got put in. So it’s still 50/50 between Iowa and Utah from what’s being reported.

    He made it seem like the class of 2025 is pretty much over. Hopefully we can get Jerome.
    The big12 really threw our momentum in recruiting out the window.
