      I keep hoping that one year Notre Dame will start somewhere besides the top 10. Utes at 12 isn’t bad at all.

      In a perfect world, Oklahoma State starts 3-0 and we are able to beat them, and Arizona starts 3-0 and we are able to take care of them at home as well. That would catapult us into the top 8, no doubt. From there it is just taking care of the teams we already should take care of. But being weary of teams that could be real threats in away games, i.e. UCF and Colorado. This would be a perfect situation, but one that is not out of the realm of possibility. Looking forward to watching the Utes this year!!

        While I love the rankings, I still am surprised how much credit we are getting for team and talent, with a Cam and Kuithe having not seen action for over a year, and loss of RB1.

        I feel like the AP and coaches are giving us much more credit on less demonstrated capability than in the past. Embedded in that is a ton of confidence in coach Whitt and his ability to bring the team together, which is appropriate.

        That said, I’ll gladly take it. Pass the kool aid.

        ND has mostly a cake schedule & should have no problem reaching the CFP….Seriously easy schedule.
