Good stuff, but I don’t like:

The other change in Utah’s offense? There will be pretty much no designed quarterback runs as the Utes try to protect Rising more this year. That’s a big change, as Rising has rushed for over 800 yards in his career.

We lose a big weapon if Cam doesn’t run. I understand why they don’t want to run him. But, I think it hurts our offense.

We’ve never previously surrounded CR with such weaponry….We hopefully won’t need his legs to make up the difference like we have before.

I imagine they will probably limit it to 1-2 designed runs a game to keep defenses honest, but that it won’t be a focal point of our offense. Even Michael Penix occasionally ran last year.

That’s good ol’ Whittingham mis-direction right there. It’s full on triple option all season long, just wait!

I would imagine that if Rising stays healthy, we will see him pick up a few key 3rd and 4th downs with his feet this year.
