On the drive home today Phillip Lindsey and Zach Bye of Denver’s 104.3 The Fan were discussing recent developments. There has been buzz lately about a news reporter at CU Football media events. Come to find out Sean Keeler, sports opinion columnist for the Denver Post has been banned from CU Football related media events. Coach Sanders has it in his contract he only has to meet with agreed upon media. Both the radio guys felt it was a bit over the top, and said sure don’t answer their questions but banning them? Seems a bit too much.

Keeler reportedly used the following terms in his articles, “false prophet,” “Deposition Deion,” “Planet Prime,” “Bruce Lee of B.S.,” “the Deion Kool-Aid” and “circus.” And Deion ain’t happy! Or maybe it just hurt his feelings. Weird!

Anybody ever see anything like this before, meaning banning a media member? Sure coaches won’t call on media they don’t like and Big Rick was prickly with the local media, but banning specific media members, that’s a new one.

Sanders is an egotistical moron who believe his own press, or bans it if he doesn’t like it. Is anyone actually surprised by this?
