      Any insight on these two WRs? I haven’t noticed them during the games. Not sure if they are hurt, off the team, buried in the depth chart, or just not getting the ball. Thanks

      Can we add in Daley, Fitzgerald, and Vili on defense? Our DE room is supposed to be the deepest on defense and we heard in the offseason how loaded they are, and that our backups would start at many teams. However, it seems that Logan Fano and Van played the majority of the snaps yesterday. Why isn’t there a heavy rotation with those 3 I mentioned above?

        Fano and Van are killing it. No need to disrupt that.

          Of course they are great, but you can’t just use 2 DE’s (when O’Toole got injured). They need rest, and our backups should be able to offer them that if they are supposedly so good that they could start at other teams.

          The reason would be a long season. Our best chance to get into the playoffs and win a game are a function of healthy depth without much drop-off. Fano and Van stay most healthy with rotation. The next couple of DEs after O’Toole need reps to manage a small drop-off margin. Rotate early and often and only shorten rotations when a game is in doubt. Two scores down or even in the second half shorten, three scores up increase rotation.

      I’m a McClain promoter. Had like 18 yds per reception last year and this year doesn’t play? There has to be a proverbial doghouse on this team.

      I believe the story is McClain is dealing with health issues and Alford is struggling with assignments (which I translate as not getting the playbook).
