Utah#1Participant
I don’t think Rising will be a go for the OSU game, and that is okay because I believe Wilson will do very well against OSU! I see the team jelling with Wilson in the first three games boosting confidence amongst the team and Wilson himself. I think we are in for a very good surprise (praying!) this coming Saturday! Maybe I am getting ahead of myself and probably my own optimistic self-talk, but I say Utah pulls out a win Saturday with the same score against USU, OSU 21 – Utah 38.
We really see Wilson’s maturity come to life becoming a man amongst men as Utah’s future QB. Go UTES!

Central Coast UteParticipant
Do you have info from the team on Risings status or just your gut?
-
ALUFParticipant
True freshman coming into an environment like Boone Pickens in a top 15 big xii championship preview is a tall ask for him to win. No way Utah wins if Wilson starts.
-
RedUte14Participant
i think you got USU and OSU confused bro
-
AlohaUteParticipant
Rising is playing
-

Last I checked you aren’t onlyu lol are you Wilson’s mom?
-
Utah#1Participant
I have NO connections to anyone on the team or any reliable sources, just pure optimism (belief). But I am prepared to eat a MASSIVE piece of humble crow if I am wrong…BUT if they win, I won’t have too!
-
OnlyuParticipant
Not gonna lie…Cam is playing.
-
Virginia UteParticipant
Yeah, there’s no way Cam is out vs OSU unless he gets a new injury in practice this week.
-
HATUmanParticipant
Well then they’d better bubble wrap him in practice because that’s totally feasible.
-
UtesRuleParticipant
No one is getting near Cam in practice this week, AND he’ll be 100% bubble wrapped (literally)!
-
Hellhound152Participant
I don’t think the bubble wrap is necessary so long as there are no 300lb metal billboards, masquerading as a hydration station, with sharp metal edges, sitting 5 yards off the field of play. The finger laceration has to be up there with the Reggie Bush ACL tear due to cleats slipping on concrete in St. Louis as the most absurd, random sports injury of all time. I mean, I guess there was the time Brian Blechen got the inside of his mouth stung up by a wasp he swallowed at fall camp.

Chris Hansen, kicker for Jacksonville was out for awhile due to the severe burns he got from spilling fondue sauce on himself. Later, he cut his leg with an ax that the coach set out to encourage everyone to keep chopping wood (working the system).
-
Hellhound152Participant
This is the territory we are traversing here. haha Classic fondue burns…

Only-U Kanobi. The one and only. You think Whitt helicoptering in for the Corner Canyon game helped at all with us and Jerome?
-
OnlyuParticipant
Quickest way back to Logan but it was pretty cool. Gonna be hard to sway Myles but he had a change of heart once, hopefully once he came back to town he remembered why he felt comfortable at home.

NarfUteParticipant
Okay, but what about Karene? If he’s in we win going away…

-
UtahParticipant
If Cam starts, we win this game by 2 scores.
If Wilson starts, we most definitely can win but it would be a dogfight.
But it’s all irrelevant because Cam is starting.
-
Tony (admin)Keymaster
I dig the optimism.
-
Utes 69Participant
Rising will be playing, Wilson will be the starter before end of season.
-
AZUTEParticipant
Cam is playing. He could’ve played last Saturday if it was Okie St instead of USU. coaches know what they have in Wilson and knew they could beat Utah St with him. Give Cam an extra week and make sure he’s full go for the big 12 season
-
Jim VanderhoofParticipant
Big difference between a good G5 team on the road in Logan and a good P4 team playing in Stillwater. Cam will be ready and up to the task. Wilson will be there someday.
Getting his first win on the road against an instate rival should do wonders for his confidence.
