Notes from the weekly Reid interview:
– He said the LB group looked good. Hall looked good.
– He was not on the sideline for the game on Saturday. (I thought that was odd.)
– He didn’t get overly nervous when the team was down 14-3.
– He thought Wilson looked good and composed himself well. He is excited for his future. He has a great supporting cast.
– They talked about how difficult Lohner is to cover. He doesn’t know how a 6-foot D back covers a guy like him. Lohner is a likable, humble guy. He has shown that he can handle the physicality.
– This game is huge. This week will be intense in practice and in meetings.
– They watched game film last night and this morning of OSU.
– What did he do when he knew he wasn’t going to play, rehab, supporting the team, watching the film, etc.
– Says he wants to play this week and is doing everything he can to play. (He doesn’t sound overly confident to me. Whitt obviously told him to not say anything specific.)
– He says that they try to look at the rankings. The only thing he cares about this week is OSU.
– He loves playing under the lights, but hates waiting all day for the game.
