      That UCF game still worries me with how they are playing and the logistics of that week.

      And on a side note, I’ve been done with the Rising drama since before the Penn State rose bowl. Put his statue anywhere you want to on campus but please move on. I’m ready to roll with Wilson for the rest of the season. Sure there will be freshman mistakes but the kid is getting better every week.

      For those old enough, Washington had a returning QB in 1991 in Mark Brunell who tore his ACL during spring ball. Even though he was able to play during the season, Don James decided to stick with his Redshirt Freshman QB (Billy Joe Hobert) and rely on the rest of his team to get the job done. The result was a national championship.

      Any focus that gets put on a guy who isn’t going to play that week is an absolute waste of this team’s potential. To paraphrase @RoboUte, I’m sick and tired of UCR (the University of Cam Rising) and want it done with. This team can win without him so let him retire with his NIL and make the rest of the season about the team instead of the guy whose time has passed.

        I think he said we’d have a standard “wtf” loss that should be a win on paper but we just crap the bed anyway

          Yes. No one performs at peak every time out. Great teams still manage to pull those games out. Good teams sometimes do.

      I had us going 11-1 with a loss to OK State. Guess I have us going 12-0 now.

      The only game I’m kinda worried about is UCF. I’d be worried a little about Iowa State if that game were in Ames. And a little about BYu if in Provo (they have a legit defense). But there isn’t much I’m seeing that Utah shouldn’t win fairly comfortably.

        Arizona is a tough out. I’m glad that the game is at night at RES. Should be an electric atmosphere.

          Arizona has an incredible QB and WR, but thats it. Defense is terrible and rest of offense isn’t great.

            I guess I have PTSD from the beating they gave us in Tucson last year.
