We don’t know as much as I would have thought. They have only played three games. Two of those games were against cupcakes. They struggled with Northern Arizona, and they let New Mexico score a ton of points. The score of their game against KState was a 31-7 loss. However, the score is a bit misleading. Arizona moved the ball well but made boneheaded mistakes in the red zone (much like Utah against OK State).

Arizona’s defense is suspect. Unless they have fixed things during the bye week, Utah should be able to move the ball against them. We need to fix our red zone offense so we score more.

Fifita is an excellent QB. He does not run much but is quick. MacMillan is the best WR in the county IMO. Scalley will have to create a plan to stop him.

The thing that scares me about Arizona is that they have the ability to score quickly. A three TD lead is not enough against these guys.

Since the game is at home, I think we win this game and maybe we win by a lot. However, I am not convinced that we will blow these guys out. I am sure you will see a gameplan similar to last Saturday in that we try to keep the ball out of their hands. If our running game gets going – I think we win this game with or without Cam Rising.

      Go Utes!!!

Good points proud Ute. The key to beating Arizona is stopping Fifita and Mcmillian. Make someone else beat you. Fifita is short and our d line can get a push inside and get your hands up. Keep him in the pocket. Our offense should able to score plenty of points to win.

I know the personnel have changed, but do we have a good breakdown of how the Utes got spanked last year. I know 7 pts were in garbage time when they should have kneeled down for the win — points that won’t be forgotten — but what else needs to be fixed from the Utes last meeting with Aridzona?
