      Not my usual bitching about fair weather fans.

      I blame Whitt.

      By not sharing any info, keeping secrets, limited player access he is alienating the fans. Makes people spectators, not the 12th man. Spectators leave when the entertainment is over. 12 man is in it with the team, feels like part of the team.

      You can’t tell me that having a fan base really invested into the game doesn’t matter. So he is making a trade off, thinking the advantage of his dumb transparent secrecy charade is more important than having the 12 man.

      Dumb.

      Also, they are fair weather fans. Also dumb.

        That’s because the Whittingham brand is bigger than the university according to Kyle.
        We went from having multiple WR weapons to only playing 2 WR with Pittman sprinkled in. Singer is a dude. Parks is a good 3rd WR. Where is McClain? Zipper? The Syracuse transfer?
        We had multiple RB options only to run one off who could have added depth. We only use another in short yardage and don’t give him a series to run. Then play a walk on RB and throw swing passes to him like it’s going to hit big. Why isn’t Stanley in there for that?
        Kuithe doesn’t seem to be as explosive as his old self and Bentley can’t get open. Where is king? Where is the UCLA transfer?

      Can’t expect fans to be there all 4 quarters when the team isn’t even there for all 4 quarters. 🤷🏻‍♂️

      Serious question for you and others about Fandom. Why do you care what other fans do? How does other fans behavior affect you?
      Seriously though why care?

      I’ve spent literraly thousands of dollars on this Utah team just like a lot of you have. So if I decide I don’t like the product on the field and wanna leave early that’s my right. If you wanna stay and watch till the clock shows zero then that’s your right too. But that doesn’t make you any better of a fan than me and honestly who cares if it did? Fan the way you want and let others fan the way they want. This isn’t a contest! This whole “true fan” s**t is nonsense! It’s tacky and trivial.

        Not saying everyone should stay. Really.

        But saying that coaches talk about how great the fans are and the impact of the Rice Eccles atmosphere on the game. Then they treat fans like outsiders with the opaque BS. Coaches can’t have it both ways.

        Everyone can leave when they want. My point is that if you compare the energy of the stadium up to the TD and immediately after it was night and day. 8 min is plenty of time for 2 scores.

        The energy of the stadium left when the fans headed for the doors.

      My babysitter had to leave at midnight, so I would have left then regardless of what was happening in the game.

      Thanks for your concern though.
