      Whitt really doesn’t think much of opposing coaches or the fans intelligence.

      Sounds like the natives are really getting restless due to this situation. Maybe I’m off the mark and affected with recency bias but the way the QB position has been handled the last two seasons could end up tarnishing both Whitt’s and Rising’s legacies.

        At this point I think Rising has to come back run the table like everyone expected he would. Stay healthy (doubtful) then somehow get a CFP spot. Which I don’t see happening. I think it will be some lower end “bowl” and Rising will declare.

        I think the hard one for me will be if Bernard sits out the post season to prepare for the NFL.

      Kuithe is a stud but he’s clearly not at 100%. Cam clearly has something not at 100%. And Bernard isn’t durable enough to take 30 snaps. I’m not really sure how we can be considered a top 20 team in this situation. And without another RB so we can consistently run 35 plays, I’m not sure how we turn it around. We’ll win some games because we’re in the B12 but really not seeing us making a statement that’s going to get us an invite to any place better based on the reality of our situation. And having the coaches pretend its something else doesn’t help. It’s burning out fans and boosters and starting to be a bad look.

      Upside, Wilson will probably be a great QB by the time he’s a junior.

        It really seems like Wilson’s knee needed the surgery as well. A few times it was bothering him against Zona.
