ParticipantTime to step up young man- you have the chance to make a difference on this team. Time to grow up, sacrifice your pride for the team. Man we could reallly use another back!

ParticipantWhat do you mean by “sacrifice your pride”? What have I missed regarding Glover?

Participantif he was good enough, he would be playing.

ParticipantI thought he wasn’t playing because of attitude reasons. There’s no way he is worse than Mitchell has been.

Dallas
ParticipantHave you seen him play? Not very good.

ParticipantI would call him but just adding him to my contacts made him fall over. I tried to tell him that contacts in a phone and contact on a football field are two totally unrelated things but he just fell over again before I could finish.

ParticipantOk, this was kinda funny lol. But you are right. The man needs to be a lean 190 at his heaviest, and he needs to focus on improving agility and elusiveness to make defenders miss, because he can’t break arm tackles at all.

ParticipantGlover is not playing this season. Both sides have mutually agreed to redshirt to save a year of eligibility.
On decision on his future at Utah will be made at the end of the regular season.
JG has a lot of talent but he needs to decide how serious football is to him.
Case in point. After he signed with Utah Coaches gave him a training regimen to report to Utah at 205lbs…..he came in at fat and out of shape 225.
It’s been more of the same since he’s been here.

ParticipantDo you have a direct source on this?
I have also been hearing rumors of this, but I was just told by a member of the coaching staff that this conversation has not happened and this is not the case.
I saw Jaylon’s mom & several members of his family in attendance at the USU game. Unless this conversation happened since then, I wouldn’t imagine they would have flown out here from Florida knowing that he wouldn’t play.

ParticipantThe reporting to camp overweight is common knowledge.
You say you got your info from a coach and that’s great my info is 2nd hand at best. He got no chances vs. Utah St and hasn’t had any carries since the opener game against Southern Utah. Family could be here for 10 different reasons.
Continuing the RB trend I’ve also heard Hunter Andrews has been moved back to LB and was recently named scout team defensive player of the week.
