      Great back and forth game last night between Utah and the NY Islanders. Isles score first, then Utah comes back with two goals to take the lead, and then the 3rd period begins and things start getting crazy. First, the Isles score twice to take a 3-2 lead, but Guenther scores to tie it up 3-3, and then things go off the hook…the Isles score with two minutes left and it’s game over, right? Nope, Josh Doan scores immediately from the faceoff to tie it 4-4 and we go into OT. Two minutes into the OT, Guenther scores again (that’s 4 goals in two games) to give the victory to the UHC. Great game…

        With the great mix of talented youngsters (Guenther, Cooley, Doan, and Keller) and experienced pros (Crouse, Sergachev, Stenlund, and O’Brien) this has all of the looks of a playoff team. In fact, The Hockey Guy on YouTube tabbed Utah as a likely playoff team this season.

      Ava and Pens for me. Can someone please explain how they didn’t come up with a better name? I’m sure this was a temporary solution but UHC? How does that move the needle? I love the clubbers!

        😆…the Clubbers is what I call them…when you come to SLC, you better hit the Club hard. I’m actually a Florida Panthers fans but love hockey and have season tickets for the Clubbers. They’ve instantly become my second favorite team in the league. I’m sure that sparks are going to fly whenever the Avs or Vegas are in town.

        Nothing like a goal coming immediately from a faceoff to quiet down an away crowd.
