End of an era for sure.

ASU is a bad team that closed out a game horribly at home.

Rising is done. Don’t lie at all about his ability to play. It really makes you wonder how you evaluate Rising. He doesn’t look game ready at all. Rising can’t defend himself. His passes are slow and advertised. The film should show you blew it by playing him in that second half.

Fourth quarter defense…yikes. They turned it around in the third mostly because ASU didn’t want to keep using that RB. It was odd for sure.

Oline it’s bad. It’s really bad. Bernard is doing the heavy lifting here.

If Bernard didn’t play this offense doesn’t score at all.

Rising simps need to see that he is done. He ain’t coming back to what he was. The swagger is gone. The running ability is gone.

With that Utah has a long season in front of them. Gatorade cooler on a meaningless qb incompletion really makes you wonder.

Analytics only work if your QB is healthy enough to execute the plays.

The inability to have a RB capable of picking up yards outside of Bernard is just puzzling too. It was quite clear early on that Cam couldn’t make the throws to win the game at least after his ankle was rolled up on… I sadly think there’s a good chance we actually win this game with Isaac if Whitt pulled Cam early. Once the other team knows you’re completely one dimensional, can’t run at QB, can’t consistently throw accurate balls with zip downfield, they can cheat at the line. That’s often what ASU did. Credit to Bernard for his game even when it was quite predictable what the play would be. Furthermore, the defense is just pure ass.

Look. Someone had to put the anal in analytics. It’s a dirty job but we’re blue collar around here, right guys?
