      Are we not giving ASU enough credit? AZ felt like a loss where nothing went right. In the ASU game the team seemed more fired up and energetic than the AZ game. Granted Rising did not play anywhere what was expected but the team seemed to play better and look more energetic than against AZ.

      I didn’t watch the game until the next morning and was able to fast forward through the commercials and halftime and thought the team looked better which makes me wonder if ASU is better than thought. They are not going to be an easy game in the next few years.

      Is ASU better than anyone thought they would be including us Ute fans?

      ASU is a decent team.
      We are an average team.

      Yes and No.

      ASU is better than expected, they were picked to finish last in the Big XII but are currently 5-1.

      However, they aren’t that good. How many passes did Cam miss his wide open target by a mile? ASU didn’t stop us, Cam’s inability to be effective stopped us. If Cam had been able to throw accurately, we win that game going away. Even if he just hits half of those poorly thrown passes, we win the game.

      Unfortunately for us, this is who we are: A talented team being held back by either an injured QB or a true freshman QB.

      who cares? We are 1-2 in a conference we were supposed to dominate, and we haven’t played the best teams in the conference yet.
