There’s no doubt in my mind that he would probably be the DC. However, you’d have to watch for heartburn from Shah, who’s probably the most decorated assistant at Utah and has a proven record of success with DBs. I mean, Shah has been in Utah for 13 years now. You’d think he would be politicking for a DC position, if not in Utah, then somewhere else.
I think the assumption that Swan would be DC comes from the idea that Shah likes being the DBs coach. Idk if that’s true or not because I know if I were Shah and got passed up I’d be offended at least a little bit. But who knows, I’m not gonna worry about that till it happens
