I feel like dr strange on that one movie where he puts up one finger for the scenario that wins them the battle with this but here it goes

UCF, KSU, AZ, UU, TCU, OSU, and CU all win this week

Week 10: ISU, KSU, TCU, OSU, UCF all win

Week 11: UU, ISU, ASU, WV, TCU, TT all win

Week 12: AZ, UU, CIN, BYU, KSU, WV all win

Week 13: UU, ASU, KSU, HOU, CU, OSU, AZ, WV all win

Week 14: UU, CU, KSU, BYU, AZ, BU, TCU, TT all win

K state makes the championship game

Utah, Iowa state, byu, Colorado, and TCU all tied for 2nd

The one common opponent is ucf, byu is eliminated from contention as the only one not with a win vs ucf

Strength of schedule is now the next part of breaking the tie as there are no other common opponents other than ucf.

      Combined wins of opponents:
      TCU-31
      Iowa state-36
      Colorado-37
      Utah-41

Utah vs Kansas State for the big xii championship

I don’t know if Utah could make the cfp though even with a win considering unbeaten American athletic teams and boises ranking but nevertheless…there is at least one chance. Sure it won’t happen but it is a fools hope

Also, I highly doubt this Utah team even makes it to 6 wins but you never know!

I just hope they win on Saturday against Houston.

“You mean there is still a chance”? Was a line near the end of Dumb and Dumber. Even if we win out to go 9-3, virtually zero chance we are in the Big12 title game.

AS this point I’m just hoping for a .500 year and a Holy War contest that doesn’t bring back bad memories of the 80s (including a rainy 50 point drubbing in Salt Lake). But I kept on attending after sitting through that one and will keep on being a Ute fan in the coming years no matter what happens the next few months.

Loving this copium and will be huffing it myself.

What makes the TCU loss suck even harder is that we get both BYU and ISU at home. We could guarantee them both 1 conference loss, and would need just 1 more along the way (UCF is favored against BYU right now for some reason…). I think the CCG is out of reach this season but they can still turn things around and have a respectable finish.

I mean, almost impossible, but the five highest-ranked conference champions includes the champions of the ACC, Big Ten, Big12, and SEC and THEN the highest-ranked champion of the G5. So a 9-3 champion would be in, but likely be the 12 seed as the G5 would likely be higher ranked and get the 4 seed (1st round bye).

LOL I love Spence Checketts, but he spent the week pushing this. “Hey if Utah wins out and chaos happened could they win the Big 12?”

Problem is the team just isn’t any good. Do other bad teams talk about their odds to win the conference as the losses pile up and the eye ball test shows reality? Besides the obvious Ls in the loss column each week, does anyone watch how the team does and think “oh this team can win out and win the Big 12 still?”

This is a bad football team and might finish in last place. If I said which is more likely to happen, the Utes win out or they lose out?” I know what you would pick.

I am guessing that you need to remake that matrix since BYU throttled UCF and Utah lost another game.
