Is a lefty. Give him first team reps and two weeks for the O-line to prep for blocking that protection and we’ll catch TSPP flat footed for a blowout win 😬

Yeah, but since the ball will be spinning the opposite direction the receivers will have more drops 🙂

I was thinking the same thing. Get a QB in there who has a great deal of experience, who isn’t going to get rattled, who can recognize defenses. The rest of this season may decide the direction of the next few seasons to come. Also, in addition to the QB, the offensive line has got to get better, whatever it takes. At the start of the season, they were labeled as one of the best we’ve had. I know there have been injuries, but, they were supposed to be deep. Was that just coach-speak? If so maybe the off line coach should be allowed to retire also. WHATEVER IT TAKES!! I feel that we are at a crossroad, and, as I stated before, it must be addressed immediately!

Yes. The oline has never lived up to the hype. Not once under Harding.

I completely agree with you. Huard is the only QB in the room that has seen live action, at various levels, at college speed. He should be more poised than Rose or Wilson.

He has talent and like Daniel’s at LSU, maybe he just needed the right environment for his talent to shine.

I have no clue why our coaches play favorites so much and refuse to acknowledge that practice performance does not always equal game performance. Some people are just gamers and shine under the lights while taking more risks in practice.

Great points shame. I’ve wondered that all year. Huard has the skills and experience. Tired of the not knowing the playbook excuse. Let him play and see what he can do. He can’t be worse that’s for sure.

Actually, not a bad idea. Huard has experience on the field beyond HS. I have always thought it was an adventure to defend a QB that you have not prepared for. We have two weeks and we always have the other two options. Ready several plays to run against a stacked box. It can’t get worse.

I hate to say it, but my money is on the Provo turds this year.

Building a game plan around Huard might be a way to change things up but does it feel desperate at this point?

We are desperate at this point.
