At the start of the year, I anticipated a lot of late home game starts during conference play due to the fact that only 5 teams out of 16 are in the Mountain (zero in Pacific) time zone and it isn’t feasible to have the late slots go to teams in the Central and Eastern time zones.
Back in the Pac 12 those late games could be assigned to any of the teams so they were spread around. Now they have to go to teams in the 4 corner states.
Hoping for a night of horrible weather – snow, rain, and wind. Since Utah can’t complete a pass in perfect conditions, may as well hope that Mother Nature can help level the playing field lol.
I looked up the weather hoping for a blizzard, but it looks like the day should be in the 60s, so cooler in the evening, but a pretty nice fall game. Bummer.
