Was pleasantly surprised with Mike S., Mason Madsen and Dawes.
Mike S. can really pass it and the offense flowed nicely when he ran the point. Has great size at 6’7 but is super thin. Has a nice stroke.
Mason has a great stroke too but is definitely shorter than his listed 6’4. Smart player.
Dawes started out slow but really came on in the second half. He’s the type of player Utah hasn’t had in a while – good length, good shooter, can block shots. Still a bit raw but tremendous upside.

Little seems solid. Good height and body.

Ausar is tough and very active. Worried me he had a hard time finishing against guys that were smaller. Wonder how his game will translate v. the big boys. Don’t think he’s 6’8 – seems more like 6’6.

      Erickson seems about the same.
Wahlin no comment because if you can’t say something nice…..
Lovering supposedly has improved but he didn’t play. Neither did Keller (Wake transfer) or the frosh Traore who is injured and will miss a lot of time.

This is definitely Gabe’s team and he looked great.

What I would give to have Keita back ……

I was pumped when we landed mongolian Mike. He should help a lot with the ball handling the the backcourt. Front court could be improved, but that remains to be seen until everyone is back. Either way it is great to have some runnin Ute hoops back!

Sharavjamts reminds me a lot of Mike Dunleavy Jr in physique and skillset.

Hard to evaluate talent when playing a high school level teams. The million dollar question is can we match up with athleticism and talent in the Big12.

TSPP’s pay to play team beat central arkansas by 38 – Let’s see if Utah can eclipse that tomorrow night

Mike Шаравжамц is officially my favorite Ute ever. We are going to suck no matter what, so at least give him the ball and let him cook!
