The reason I ask is because, since its first loss, Utah has been losing games by an ever closer margin.

      Arizona – 13 points
      ASU – 8 points
      TCU – 6 points
      Houston – 3 points
      BYU – 1 point

Who knows, maybe this is the weekend that Utah gets on the positive side of the ledger. I have to think that the players and coaching staff have a lot of aggression to get out of their system. Maybe Colorado will the receptacle of all that. I’ve often seen situations like this happen in the NFL and college football.

No. This isn’t the weekend that Utah turns the corner.

hee-hee. If you are standing on the North Pole and turn the corner 3 times, you are right back where you started

No I don’t think it is. But all hope is not lost. I think we have a good chance of taking one of our remaining

        I don’t see it.

@ Colorado and vs Iowa State will be two of the best teams we have played all year and we are coming off of a heartbreaking rivalry loss.

@ UCF on a short week the day after Thanksgiving with nothing to play for but pride, most likely.

I don’t see how Utah gets up for the UCF game unless it’s to get bowl eligible which requires winning against Colorado or Iowa State. And if Utah isn’t motivated, UCF could end up with 400 yards rushing since that has been the Utah D weakness this year.

Everything pointed to a potential UCF loss when the schedule came out. But it would be so 2024 for that to be the one game this season where the “real” Utah showed up in all facets and dropped fitty on them.

Who knows, that might be this weekend’s game…I’m sure the players are really tired of hearing of how wonderful Colorado is, about their triumphal march to the CCG and the CFP, and Travis Henry’s Heisman Trophy winning season.

Good teams can use that outside stuff to motivate them, just like Michael Jordan used to create controversies in his own mind. If bad teams focus on anything besides fixing their own internal issues, they are setting themselves up for failure. And Utah is the textbook definition of a bad team right now.

Depends. I think this week Utah will actually not score at all offensively and might get 200 yards of total offense with maybe 3 first downs. That is how bad I think it will be. It’s turning a corner and then backtracking in the bend.

I just wonder if Utah’s defense will finally fold. They have problems but they generally do more than enough.

We’re so short-manned, down FOUR QBs (if rumors of Wilson are true) and 2 of our best receivers.

Hard to see any wins this season I’m afraid, unless defense scores few times.

Defense doesn’t score this year, they’ve made that apparent

A victory or at least a close game will reveal the culture of the program. If Wilson can get a win it would be huge boost for him going forward and show his character as a leader.

I’ve learned that the answer to any question posed in a headline is usually: No.

Lots of eyeballs on this game being the early Fox time slot and CU. Exactly what players want.

Well, I think I’ll have to break out my santeria/voodoo magic on the Utes’ behalf. Eagle knows what I’m talking about…he saw it happen in 2022…
