Heard a Rumor that Utah is all in on trying to bring Noah Fifita to the U next year. What do we think? Would you guys like that or even be open to having him as a QB to try and battle with the other QBs we have? I think it would be great. Go Utes!

He’s Doug Flutie short, and we’re not going to have anyone to throw to.

Assuming (I know that’s a huge assumption at Utah) we get a capable aggressive OC, he’d be fantastic. And this year has proven to me that guys who buy in and aren’t all about the bulls**t can be successful. And there’s plenty of transfer WRs who would love to play with a QB like Noah. Those type of personalities attract talent.

He had a great 2023 and is having a mediocre to bad 2024. Is he better than anyone we have on the roster now? Probably, but remember that in Zona he’s got a Top 15 draft pick to throw to and it still hasn’t helped him much. As someone put it succinctly in another thread, he was superhuman versus Utah but has sucked against everyone else. Keep in mind that Zona is 3-6, and, like Utah, on a five-game losing streak.

He seems tough- and if he plays like he did against us he’s a can’t miss

The problem is that the only real breakout game he’s had this season is the one versus Utah.

Better than what we’ve got right now, but I wouldn’t be a fan of the move. I’d be curious to see how he does without the best WR in college football… my guess is he’d look extremely average.
