Feels like a bit of a grey area so I agree both are at fault. Player has to actually join the team before the collective will put ink on paper so the onus is already on the player. If the collective changes its mind the player has to have some recourse.
Rashada was able to go from Florida to ASU when the Florida collective didn’t make its first payment. We don’t really know why the Vegas deal went bad but I’m inclined to side with the player. It’s not like the same boosters who were considered sleazeballs before NIL have all of a sudden developed morals and ethics.
