    I have to believe that he’s going to be playing somewhere next season. If he can show some team that he’s close to health by late Spring, someone will take a chance on him. Whoever that team is will probably rationalize to itself that it’s Utah’s fault that Rising was constantly injured and that it won’t happen in his next destination.

    If I recall, Cam was previously honored on Senior night a year or two ago before he ultimately decided to return. I doubt they’d continue honoring post seniors every year until they finally ran out of eligibility…
    
    I’ll always love Cam, but at this point I’ll love him a lot more as a member of the coaching staff than for him to return for another season as a player. At some point playing for an eighth or ninth season gets awkward…

  Couple of comments:
  
  1. In a Whitt presser a couple of weeks ago he mentioned Damuni, (along with Kenan Johnson), “expressed their interest to return next season”. As we all know Damuni missed all of the 2024 season with an injury while Johnson had a season ending injury in the SUU game. Let’s hope this statement holds and they’re both back for 2025, we’ll need them.

    Will remove Damuni.
    
    Bouwmeester shows as a junior but multiple articles say he is out of eligibility. He started at MSU in 2019 – didn’t play and as noted in his bio, there is nothing noted for 2020 or 2021 on ESPN stat sheet so I assume he lost those years of eligibility. I don’t really know though.

        That would make sense. I was looking at it like he wasn’t even on a roster.
        
        Either way, he just entered the portal.
