I get anxious just thinking about Chem labs! It was always a race to get through it as fast as possible.

Just copy and paste this into your notebook and leave:

      CH4-OH-C6H12O6-C6H6

That right there is the answer to 90% of o-chem problems.

I absolutely loved the labs in Organic.

Unless any of these responses are from doctors, I wouldn’t trust them. They all got bad grades in O-Chem.

Well chemistry major, so no I didn’t get bad grades in Organic Chemistry, but I did hate the pre-med guys. We learned the principles the pre-med guys got by on memorization. I particularly liked Dr. Bentrude’s story about the pre-med guy that memorized the page number as part of the formula.

Organic Chemistry led to my changing my major. There’s always that option.
