  This spam plugin I use here will spot spam links (or what it thinks are spam links) and denies them. So the spammers/bots figured out how to get around that by not posting links but instead posting phone numbers. NOTE though that the plugin isn’t 100% accurate and sometimes has a false positive on user posts. So if you have a post that is denied, let me know and I’ll try to whitelist you so you don’t get denied again.
  
  These are but a few things you don’t realize you’ll have to deal with when you run a board like this. That and zoob trolls. 🙂
