one of the first BB games i watched at the start of the season, I could tell Keanu Dawes was a pretty good player. after seeing his minutes per game it was pretty disturbing him sitting on the bench. Smith did use the players correctly!

Help yourself to a larger dose of frustration, link below. To me, there is no excuse for his not playing more. Hell, he doesn’t even strike me as a player that has off court issues, as he seems to be the very “lunch pail” type player that works just as hard off the court as he does on it. He doesn’t seem to have a temper or a bad attitude, just goes out and makes the most of the opportunities whenever he gets them.

I recommend clicking the heading on the MPG column, that way you can see the relationship between points, Game Score, rebounds, etc. When he played over 20 MPG, he was very productive

KD reminds me of Shawn Marion. He is smooth and can shoot or get to the rim. His lack of playing time has to be a result of his defense. How else can you explain? Defense has been an issue with Smith’s teams especially on the road. Offensively he is a tough matchup and can score and get rebounds. He would be my top player on the roster to kee out of the portal.

Sorry, but it doesn’t appear to be correct in any meaningful sense that I can see.

He has the lowest (good) defensive rating on the team and it’s not even close. He is 98.9, and next closest is Miro at 102.1, Ezra is down at 103.5.

He has the highest defensive rebounding rating at 13.8, and again it’s not even close. Next one on the ist is Wahlin at 8.7. Side note, he also the highest offensive rebound and overall rebound ratings by far and it’s not even close. He also he has a higher block per game, only 0.4 steals per game behind ezra and higher than lawson, and his defensive BPM is tied with Lawson and a full point ahead of Ezra (2.5 vs 1.5).

Defense is like rebounding, it’s an effort game and nobody appears to put in the kind of effort that he does.

Dawes leading team in total rebounds with significantly fewer minutes than a few of the other big men.
