I am not even sure why, it just does. Alex learned coaching from one of the best, Rick Majerus. He has been around a lot of great coaches and elite players.

When Alex played, we sold out most games, and today we are lucky to get 9K for a game. I hope within a few years we can get back to the glory days of Utah basketball. I know Alex will give it everything he has. He also is friends with Hanno, who develops Finish players. Maybe he can get a few to come to Utah.

I am hopeful, but I know it will take time, a lot of work, and money to get Utah basketball back to where it once was.

      Go Utes!!!

But has he really accepted, or is he still thinking about it?

Exactly! I have come to learn the university, especially as it pertains to te football program and Kyle W operate on “radio silence”. They keep the fanbase in the dark, and make it a “game time” decision which I have come to know as a very bad thing when handling situations and we’ve seen nothing good ever come out of that.

And because of that, I have zero faith in the university’s leadership the past few years. They were part of the reason why the Pac12 imploded, not the main reason, but they were partly to blame for the demise of the remaining members in the league. They may have tried to do their part, but got greedy and it backfired! My understanding is, the president and the athletic director were leading the charge and not accepting the ESPN offer which I think was $32M.

IMO, if Utah wants to go upward and not downward it would behoove them not to keep the current university leadership in power if they want to carry on the success in the Big12. BYU has resurrected their football and basketball programs and Utah has regressed. Poor management and decision making in those programs has the programs to regress. With years of experience, there should be no excuses why they can’t put good products on the field and on the court. Come on, lets get AJ and Miller signed and on the recruiting trail. Go UTES!
