ParticipantInteresting information. It sounds like Parker will be RB1 as expected. They do not list Nate Johnson in the RB room, but Whitt says that he is our “Swiss army knife.” Andrews has moved to tight end, which makes sense with his size and speed.
I know some of you don’t like Johnson playing the role of a Swiss army knife. As for me, I like it. Use his athletic ability to help the team in any way that he can.
Parker proved himself at WSU, and I am glad we have him on the team. However, we have very little experience behind him. The RB room and the RB coach are all new. Will it take some time for these guys to get the kinks worked out?

ParticipantI was really hoping Andrews would have worked out in the RB room. With our current group of under 200-lbs scatbacks, we could have really used a powerback among them.

ParticipantI agree, but we need to be MUCH better in 2025 if we want to compete. A lot of it is on the Oline IMO.

ParticipantX-post from 4-star RB Racine Galliore yesterday, “patiently waiting” which I interpret as ‘I better start getting reps and more involved or I am hitting the portal already!’ Not surprised and even new high school recruits who haven’t played a down at the college level gonna bounce if they don’t get their way soon. From his high school highlight reel, I wasn’t too impressed. To me, the new freshmen 3-star RB to lookout for creating buzz in spring camp and got significant reps behind Wayshawn Parker is Daniel Bray out of Texas. His high school highlight reel is impressive. He’s quick and has a burst of speed when hitting those pockets or holes. It appears he has good field vision. Is shifty in short and open field and makes cuts on a dime when necessary. I expect Utah to lose and pickup a few more players from the portal that could be surprises (prolly both good and bad)!

ParticipantRaycine isn’t even on campus yet. He’ll get here in the summer with a few other freshman.

Participantoh my bad, didn’t know he wasn’t even on campus yet. i guess he meant patiently waiting to join the team and get after it. thanks for clarifying, i stand corrected! the way college football is these days, i looked too much into it. however, outta the two, Daniel Bray looked much more impressive in his high school highlights then Raycine and seems to have backed it up in Spring ball. will see come fall camp when competition heats up. very exciting times ahead!

Participantokay, let me pump the breaks and let our new guys get on campus and prove themselves! just watched one of Racine’s hudl videos and no doubt why he was a highly recruited RB! he does have very good quickness and speed, to me though it just seems Daniel Bray’s video highlights standout. we do have some good talent coming in and fall camp will be the one to watch!

ParticipantGuillory is explosive, Bray is quick.
Guillory has a highlight or two where he waits for a hole behind his line and goes from almost standing to gone.
I think this is what Georgia, Ohio St, Texas et al see.
But, I think we saw an overlooked playmaker in Bray and stole him.
Both could be really good for us. Hope they stick with us and us with them.
