ParticipantBased on the schools we beat out for his services, I’d say this is confirmation that the checkbook is officially open.

Minnesota Ute
ParticipantI don’t see minnesota on the list, but there was an article about him being considered by the gophers. He’s a native of Minneapolis.

ParticipantSorry for the duplicate post. M Ute posted while I was typing mine. Just a bit of caution on these lists that recruits or agents put out. There’s a lot of tire kicking going on and a big difference between being contacted and actually being offered.

ParticipantHe was one of the top scorers in the portal, so it’s probably safe to assume that most of the programs that contacted him offered.
In general, probably most teams that contact players in the portal do so with an offer in mind.

ParticipantSeems like a good defender. He doesn’t have a janky shot, so his three point shooting isn’t a total liability. It will be nice to have another guy that isn’t so three point line oriented.
We desperately need someone to carry the load down low on defense, and we need more three point shooting. If we can do that we should be much improved with better coaching and more fan interest.

Holladay Ute
ParticipantHe can score, although I wish he’d have been a little more efficient from the field (45% FG and 30% 3PT). Really like the 75% FT shooting and the fact that he improved shooting efficiency across each level from freshman to sophomore year. A little turnover prone though (3+ per game). Looks like a very good defender. A great addition to the team! Hopefully we’ve still got plenty of NIL to spend after him and Dawes.

ParticipantWith the amount offers he’s got for his services from respected reputable programs, any dificiencies your concerned about should be improvable coachable.

ParticipantWatching pieces of his film you can definitely see that he’s extremely fast and jumps out of a gym for only being 6’3. Putting up those numbers as a sophomore and especially 5.6 rebounds a game being undersized just shows how tenacious he is living at both ends of the floor under the hoop. I’m very excited to watch him take the point position next year!
