  Just saw an article that quoted Witt saying Becker “opted out”, along with the two corners (shemwell and hunter). Can’t seem to find anything else on it, but he did seem like a questionable fit for the new system.

    I would say that we’d be fine with just 3 QBs, but the way the last two seasons have gone, we really need like 6 or 7.

        Brendan Zurbrugg is competing in spring as well. I think I got the name right. He’s the Oklahoma transfer who will be a freshman.

        I assumed Zurbrugg was also in the mix, but oddly enough, he wasn’t mentioned in the article.

  I believe he enrolled in Jan and was around, but I guess he saw how he was at best 5th. Maybe had to reset his expectations or find a better fit.
