Favorite pizza place and favorite pizza??
Mine would have to be Este’s straight up cheese pizza.

SkinyUteParticipant
Probably just stick with The Pie. Pepperoni, black olive, and mushroom…yum.
Really like Mellow Mushroom as well. Haven’t tried the one in Utah yet, but used to go to the Nashville locations all the time.

Milton VandersliceParticipant
The Pie is still the greatest pizza I’ve had.
-

I have enjoyed some pizzas from there but it isn’t nice to my gut. Way too much grease.

bopahullParticipant
MMMMM Pizza just keep your damn pineapple well away from mine.
-
Milton VandersliceParticipant
Way to revive old themes. I’m so happy.

HERETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AZswayzeParticipant
And they say politics is divisive.
-

Food can be very divisive. It speaks of ones cultural heritage and to motherhood.
I mean this in the most insulting way possible NO CULTURE WOULD PUT PINEAPPLE ON A PIZZA AND YOUR MOM WAS AWFUL IF SHE DID!!

It’s hard to argue with the suggestions in this thread already, but I’d add to the list Big Apple Pizza in Millcreek. their Buffalo Chicken pizza is fantastic.

I just saw a McDonald’s ad that said “it’s national pizza day, come get a big Mac”
-
Coreyc04Participant
Well they are appealing to BYU fans with that zoob logic.

NYPD (New York Pizza Department). I don’t think the ones in Utah are related to the ones out here in AZ, but if they are then there you go. I’m pretty plain, normally go with pepperoni (although supreme ain’t bad). Usually hate sausage, but they actually have really good sausage pizza as well.

Brick Oven in Hawaii (kauai or Oahu), not the Utah version. Combination (a little bit of everything)
-
bopahullParticipant
When I lived in Hawaii a full house combo did not include pineapple. I wish places around where I live now had gotten the message.
-
-
Utahute72Participant
You should try Pizza in Germany. They include such things as hot dogs, pickles, egg, artichoke, beets, etc. Some really strange combinations over there.

I used to love Godfathers growing up and my favorite was their Taco Pizza. Basically had hot sauce instead of red sauce. Cheese with beef and olives. Then it would get shredded lettuce and tomatos on top with some more hot sauce sort of spread around. I went to Godfathers about a year ago and needless to say it reminded me how brainless I was as a kid.

Ray’s Pizza in NYC. Greasy. Thin. Tasty. The PIE here in SLC.
-
GameForAnyFussParticipant
In Utah, The Pie.
In California, Round Table.
In Nevada, Grimaldi’s (Las Vegas).
In the whole country, Dimo’s (Chicago). -
LadyUteParticipant
As long as there is pineapple, it’s my favorite pizza! 😂😂
-

I bet you put ketchup on Brats.

LadyUteParticipant
Maybe…😉😉

Buffalo Chicken at the Pie
-
RickParticipant
For me it is Settebelo or Villiage Baker. The Pie puts way too much cheese on their pizzas making them very greasy and heavy. My stomach cannot take the Pie. Also Oak Wood Fired Kitchen makes a great thin crust pizza.
-
SkinyUteParticipant
I haven’t tried a pizza at Village Baker. Mostly because they make my favorite sandwich in the world (dry salami and cheddar on white bread) and I can’t imagine getting anything else.
I keep telling me I need to try a pie there. One of these days…
-
Tony (admin)Keymaster
Village Baker’s pie recipies originate from the old Round Table Pizza. They were great.
