      That was crazy. I can’t believe they handed Warren Beatty the wrong envelope.

      But I am happy that Moonlight won Best Picture. That is truly a beautiful movie, with a powerful theme of hope, redemption, and goodness, despite the awful reality that is the main characters’ daily lives. The cinematography is perhaps the best I have seen since Children of Men. Just stunningly beautiful in every scene, despite being a gritty and challenging movie.

      I love surprise, twist endings.  It’s as if M. Night Shyamalan directed the Oscars this year.

      OK, conspiracy theory time: What are the odds that the “envelope malfunction” was just part of the act to drum up some headlines?
