      I noted last week on the Hotline that if the Utes finished fourth, they would have a strong case as the worst No. 4 seed in the (albeit brief) history of the conference’s 12-team tournament.

      And I’ll stick with that conclusion, thankyouverymuch.

      It’s just weird beacuse it’s a merit-based seeding. If the number four team is awful then it means that the 5-12 are that much worse.

      The PAC 12 reminds me of the Western Conference of the NBA.  The top 3, then then next 4-5 and the bottom.  Utah is in the middle group in both leagues.  Good, but not great.
